Who is YarnByTheBag.com (YBTB.com)?

YBTB is a branch of The BeehiveWool Shop. It was created to provide an online source for yarns at discount prices for those customers who are able to use whole bags of one color.

Through The Beehive, we have had the privilege of serving thousands of customers to whom we've safely delivered thousands of packages. We will be adding products to our line on a regular basis and welcome your comments and suggestions.

In Stock/Out of Stock?

We endeavor to keep our site as up-to-date as possible. Our in stock/out of stock updates are done every Friday, but it is inevitable that we run out of some things before we can update the site. We will e-mail you if we are out of anything and you can choose to either substitute or wait till a new shipment arrives.

We have a large well stocked warehouse where our product line is stored. You will never have to wait while we put your order in with a distributor, wait till it comes in to us (IF they have it) and THEN send it out to you. Our turn around time is typically 48 hours.

We only sell what we stock, therefore although our product line may look smaller than some - we really have everything we say we do!

Return Policy

You are welcome to return yarn for any reason, provided the bags of yarn are unopened and the yarn unused. Yarn must be returned within a week from the date that you receive your order. The exception is the Inventory Clearout category - All Sales Final on these products.

We will refund your credit card as soon as we receive the merchandise. You are, however, responsible for the return postage and you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Should you wish to return merchandise please do the following:

  • E-mail us in advance that you will be returning the yarn
  • Return the merchandise via the US Postal System NOT UPS
  • Clearly mark on the package:
    Merchandise Unsatisfactory - Returned to Sender

Defective Merchandise

All defective merchandise can be returned with no penalty whatsoever. Please follow the instructions above to return the defective goods.

We will either replace the merchandise or refund your credit card for the full cost of the goods plus any postage you may have paid.
